Mobile app gaming companies poised for record second half

According to Strategy Analytics (www.strategyanalytics.com), mobile gaming apps continue to show strength globally with smaller second quarter (Q2) declines in the US and UK than last year.

However, emerging categories such as Travel and Health & Fitness need to find revenue through alternative business models, says the research group. Mobile gaming continued to experience seasonal Q2 declines but in the U.S. specifically those declines still placed gaming at a higher percentage of top grossing apps than in the year ago quarter.

Zevrix Solutions has delivered Deliver 2.4.21, a maintenance update to its file transfer solution with automatic email notifications.

The software lets users send files to FTP, Google Storage, Amazon S3, WebDAV and other remote and local servers. Deliver will automatically notify recipients about delivered files which can be instantly downloaded from a link in the email. The new version improves transfer of non-compressed folders on local networks and addresses some performance and stability issues.

128bit Technologies has announced Logo Pop Lite 1.2, an update to the logo design app for Mac OS X.


The software allows you to create a vector -based logo, and and then use it online or in print with support for all popular image formats including transparent PNGs. Version 1.2 adds new pre-designed templates and royalty free graphics, and fixes bugs reported by customers.
