TextExpander 5.1 updates suggested snippets, notifications, more

Smile Software (www.smilesoftware.com) has introduced TextExpander 5.1, an update to the Mac typing shortcut tool.

The upgrade improves the suggested snippets it recommends by excluding most single words found in a dictionary. There’s also a new preference to control whether you receive notifications of the suggestions.

TextExpander 5.1 requires Mac OS X Yosemite or higher. Pricing ranges from US$44.95 for a single user license to $779.95 for a site license.

Zevrix Solutions has announced Deliver Express 2.5, a feature update to its hot folder based solution to automatically send files across the Internet and locally with email notifications.

The app can serve multiple users on a network and supports FTP, Amazon S3, WebDAV, Google Storage, AFP, SMB and other services. The new version lets users automatically expire files by deleting them from final destination after specific number of days since their transfer date.
