Rogue Amoeba revs Audio Hijack for Mac OS X to version 3.2

Rogue Amoeba (www.rogueamoeba.com) has updated Audio Hijack, the Mac OS X tool for recording and enhancing audio, to version 3.2.

With the utility, audio from individual applications like Safari or Skype, hardware audio devices like microphones and mixers, and even the entire system audio output, can all be saved. In version 3.2, Time Shift Block now features a popover that can be made to float above other windows for easy access from any application. As well, global hotkeys enable access to Time Shift’s controls without even using the mouse.

Apple releases sixth beta of Mac OS X El Capitan for developers

Apple has made available the fifth beta of Mac OS X El Capitan to developers for testing purposes. It’s available through the Software Update section of the Mac App Store and through the Apple Developer Center (https://developer.apple.com).

The new beta focuses on bug fixes, not new features. OS X 10.11 El Capitan is currently available to both registered developers and public beta testers. Apple plans to release El Capitan to the public in the fall.
