Sample Logic’s Elements EXP, Synergy now directly installable on Receptor
Sample Logic’s virtual instruments The Elements EXP (US$359) and Synergy ($299) are now compatible and installable on Receptor using Muse Research’s Direct Install technology. Direct Install is part of Receptor Tools and can be accessed via the Receptor Remote Control.
The Receptor is a standalone hardware plug-in solution for the professional composer and sound designer. It’s Mac and PC compatible and is available in VST, DXi, RTAS, AU and standalone versions. For more info go to the Sample Logic web site (http://www.samplelogic.com).

Zevrix Solutions has updated BatchOutput Server (http://zevrix.com/BatchOutputServer.php), an output workflow automation solution for Adobe InDesign, to version 4.2.8. The new version addresses an issue related to auto-updating of modified links.
Under BatchOutput Server workflow, production artists and prepress operators simply submit files to hotfolders that reside on the network. BatchOutput Server automatically outputs the files from its dedicated station using hotfolder settings, and will auto-activate document fonts as well.
