CryptoEdit for Mac OS X now ‘remembers’ position, size of saved docs

Tension Software has updated CryptoEdit (http://www.pomola.com/products_cryptoedit/cryptoedit.html), a Mac OS X program to create and edit protected encrypted documents, to version 1.5. In the new version saved documents remember their position and size.

CryptoEdit can import from other documents in standard TEXT or RTF or RTFD (RTF + images) . Documents can also be exported as TEXT, RTF or standard RTFD (included images)

Corsair launches new USB flash drives

Corsair (http://www.corsair.com) has announced the Flash Voyager GTR family of USB flash drives. The quad-channel architecture employed by the Flash Voyager GTR series delivers read speeds up to 34MB/second and write speeds up to 28MB/second.

The Flash Voyager GTR drives will be available in densities of 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. They feature a water-resistant rubber housing to protect the drive against accidental damage. Pricing hasn’t yet been announced.

Apple renews Newton trademark

Make of it what you will, but “Patently Apple” ( http://www.patentlyapple.com/patently-apple/2010/03/hmm-apple-has-renewed-their-newton-logo-trademark.html) reports that Apple’s filing pertaining to their Newton logo design trademark that appears to have been renewed or has been automatically set to renew on Oct. 13, 2010.
