NTP sues Apple, others for infringement of wireless email patents

Another day, another lawsuit. NTP Inc. (http://www.ntp-inc.com/) — a company that specializes in network monitoring, security and protocol analysis solutions — has filed lawsuits against Apple, Google, HTC Corp., LG Electronics, Microsoft and Motorola in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia for infringing NTP’s eight patents related to the delivery of electronic mail over wireless communications systems.

Blue Crowbar Software releases TwitExport 2 for iPhoto, Aperture

Blue Crowbar Software has releasedTwitExport 2, the successor to iPhoto2Twitter and Aperture2Twitter. It’s a plug-in for iPhoto and Aperture that lets you send tweets and photos to Twitter from within the Mac photo application.

With TwitExport 2, the iPhoto2Twitter and Aperture2Twitter plug-ins have been merged into one product. The new name was implemented to comply with Twitter’s updated trademark policy. On the outside, the new plug-in has been redesigned to become even easier to use, according to the folks at Blue Crowbar Software.
