AlwaysOnPC releases virtual PC app for idevices

AlwaysOnPC has announced version 1.0 of their Virtual PC app for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. It boasts more than 40 pre-installed programs including a mobile office suite and Firefox.

AlwaysOnPC purportedly delivers a combination of productivity tools and capabilities that frees users from their desktops. Using Open Office, users can edit, copy and paste between apps, and save most common file types including Word (.doc and .docx), Excel (.xls, .xlsx), and PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx) and more.

Itzabitz is new educational game for the Mac

Virtual Programming has released a Mac OS X version of Sabi Games’ ItzaBitza, an education game in which children’s drawings come to life and help them develop their reading skills, thanks to a drawing recognition system called Living Ink.

ItzaBitza stars Sketchy, who asks children to draw things that he or she (depending on the gender chosen by the child) puts to good use. For example, Sketchy will grow or shrink to fit into a house. Then Sketchy will ask the player to complete a task to earn a star, such as drawing additional items for Sketchy to use, or finding hidden objects.

Genilogix releases iOS compatible QC Mobile

Genilogix (http://www.genilogix.com) says QC Mobile, is now available for download via the Apple App Store. It allows professionals to run application testing through HP Quality Center from virtually anywhere.

Using Apple iPads, iPhones, and/or iPod touch mobile devices running Genilogix QC Mobile, development and quality professionals can perform tests, track defects, and transmit electronic test data wirelessly. Genilogix QC Mobile integrates with HP Quality Center, a quality-management software platform.
