Apple getting 55% of mobile ad hits

Apple is still getting 55% of mobile ad hits, but the Android is gaining fast (up 690% since January), according to a report by Millennial Media, an independent mobile ad network. According to the report — as noted by “Fortune” (http://macosg.me/2/q6):

° Android ad requests grew 47% month-over-month. Since January, the platform has grown 690%.

° iOS ad requests increased 24% month-over-month. Since January, the platform has increased 15%.

° RIM ad requests increased 18% month-over-month. Since January, the platform has increased 66%.
