Apple has released iOS 9.3.4. It’s available via an over-the-air download on all devices running iOS 9.x.

According to Apple’s release notes, iOS 9.3.4 provides “an important security update” and is recommended for all iOS 9 users. It comes two weeks after the release of iOS 9.3.3.

Total War: Warhammer coming to the Mac this autumn

Feral Interactive (www.feralinteractive.com) will bringTotal War: Warhammer to Mac and Linux systems this autumn. Eltima Software has announced Airy 3.0, an update of their Youtube downloader for Mac OS X. The app allows users to download and save YouTube videos right into their Mac computers in a desired quality and resolution.

Videos downloaded with Airy can be saved in MP4, FLV, and 3GP formats. Airy also download HD videos – even 4K and 8K Ultra HD videos are supported. Version 3.0 offers the ability to log in to your YouTube account for the possibility to download age-restricted and protected videos.

New data from Parks Associates (www.parksassociates.com) finds that less than 5% of U.S. broadband households own a smart appliance such as a full-sized refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, or washer/dryer that can be monitored or controlled using a smartphone, tablet, or computer. However, the research shows 18% of consumers plan to buy a smart appliance in the next 12 months.
