Monsoon Multimedia launches Vulkano for the Mac

Monsoon Multimedia, a provider of video convergence products, has announced the availability of the free Mac client for all Vulkano devices direct from Monsoon (http://www.myvulkano.com).

The new software allows Mac owners to enjoy all the Vulkano features including integrated DVR, web video, place shifting, Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) streaming and mobile video recording. iPhone, iPod touch traffic up to 41% in Finland

In first half of 2010, iPhone and iPod touch traffic increased from 33.9% to 41% in Finland, reports asymco (http://www.asymco.com).

Apple’s devices account for a very small percent of the total phones in use in Nokia’s home country, the article adds.The analysis was performed by QAim on a sample of 64 million “mobile downloads.”
