Apple is suing Sanho Corp. for patent infringement. The lawsuit (http://dockets.justia.com/docket/california/candce/5:2010cv04042/231609/) was filed Thursday in the California North District Court in San Jose, though details aren’t yet available.
Sanho (http://www.hypershop.com/) is the company behind the HyperMac line of external batteries for the MacBook, iPod, iPad and iPhone and the HyperDrive portable photo storage device. The company was founded in 2002.

MicroStrategy, a business intelligence software maker, has deployed 1,100 iPads to executives and sales personnel to conduct critical job-related tasks. The company said it expects 700 more iPads to be deployed soon, reports “Computerworld” (http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9184419/BI_firm_takes_iPads_over_laptops_?source=rss_news).
MicroStrategy is one of the largest business users of iPads to go public about its deployment, the article adds. Most other businesses that have talked about iPad use have around 100 users.
