CoverScout update ready for iTunes 10

equinux (http://www.equinux.com) has released CoverScout 3.3.2, an update of the software for completing album covers in iTunes. The upgrade is ready for iTunes 10.

The interface of CoverScout is based upon the principles of Cover Flow. Its interface lets you flip through your music library and find all their missing cover are. CoverScout scans your music library as soon as the application is launched showing all covered and uncovered tracks. It searches for appropriate cover art on the Internet, which it can automatically apply to entire albums or individual tracks.

Keynote Theme Park releases 360 Elements, Nation Elements

Keynote Theme Park (http://www.keynotethemepark.com/) has released 360 Elements and Nation Elements Keynote themes. Keynote is the presentation component of Apple’s US$79 iWork suite.

360 Elements, are looped QuickTime movies made with transparent background for use with OS X Keynote presentations. Each set includes isolated letters A-Z, 0-9 and six symbols centered within a ring that slowly rotate. Each set is available for immediate download for US$5.95 or four white or four black sets for $14.95 each.

Einstein is NewtonOS running on other operating systems

Einstein (http://code.google.com/p/einstein/) is a platform developed by Paul Guyot to get the NewtonOS running on other operating systems. On the Mac platform, it requires Mac OS X and an iPhone, iPod or iPad.

It was written and released by Paul Guyot several years ago, but got a shot in the arm earlier this month when Matthias Melcher got it up and running on iOS and posted a video of himself running it on his iPhone, notes “Panic Blog” (http://www.panic.com/blog/2010/09/newton-never-dies/).
