WebObjects, Apple’s application server for creating dynamic web sites, was updated today with a MultiCountry download. WebObjects 4.5.1 can be downloaded from Apple’s Software Downloads Web site.

Apple has made Mac OS X 10.0.3 available via their Software Update Control Panel. VersionTracker.com notes the update “ensures full visibility of file lists in directories that contain a large number of items.”

In his latest effort, Business Week columnist Charles Haddad looks at the recent challenges in the education market and how they affect Apple. Haddad holds John Droz Jr. up as one of the “battle-tested veterans” Apple will need in order to win the war.

Palm saw its market share fall from 52.1 percent a year ago to 41.3 percent in Europe this year, despite shipping 347,000 units in the first quarter — a 38 percent increase over last year. Handspring made it to sixth place with 7.2 percent of the market, according to News.com.

Chinese hackers, belonging to a group known as the Honker Union of China, have declared an end to the recent hacking war. The group claims to have defaced 1000 U.S. Web sites, thus achieving their goal. Hostilities began after U.S. hackers broke into Chinese sites following the American-Chinese plane collision last month.
