Apple set to tap mobile market worldwide

The Times of India has an interview with Naren S Ayyar, MD, Apple Computer, India-SAARC countries, discussing the future of mobile computing. Apple has moved into the digital lifestyle this year and the Times say that’s what people are looking for. “Regular buyers are looking beyond processing power, weight and battery life. They now want new features: Connect a camera to the laptop to make home movies or get connected to the music system at home to play music downloaded from the Web.”

UK Mac users want an Apple store

Mac users in the UK want their own Apple Store. A poll by Macworld UK indicates that 66 percent of the people want an Apple store “immediately.” Twenty-two percent said Apple should wait to see how the US stores do first; seven percent believe Apple should push harder in established high-street stores; and two percent thought the present system of AppleCentres was still the way to go.

Adobe releases After Affects demo

Adobe released a demo on their Web site for After Affects that’s a 104.4MB download. Although the demo includes most of the creative features of the standard application, you cannot save or export out of the program. Adobe will also not provide tech support for the demo version.
