Canon releases new printers, scanners

Canon USA (http://www.usa.canon.com) has announced five new PIXMA printers with a new Full High Definition (HD) Movie Print feature and two new scanners.

Now when using the new Full HD Movie Print with compatible HD Canon EOS and PowerShot Digital cameras, consumers can print individual frames of movies. The new PIXMA printers also feature improvements to Auto Photo Fix II to enhance photos while Easy-PhotoPrint EX software now allows users to search and use images from Flickr.

Kanguru releases new encrypted flash drive

Kanguru Solutions (http://www.kanguru.com) has released the Kanguru Defender Basic, a hardware encrypted, secure flash drive designed for everyday use. It’s the latest in the Defender line of encrypted flash drives, following the FIPS 140-2 Certified Kanguru Defender Elite and the Kanguru Defender V2.

FileMaker Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Apple, has announced FileMaker Go for iPhone and FileMaker Go for iPad, which let users work remotely with FileMaker Pro databases on the Apple devices.

With FileMaker Go — available as two separate apps for iPhone or iPad — users can view, edit and search for information in FileMaker databases on their iPhone or iPad. The apps provide access to databases created with FileMaker Pro and hosted on FileMaker Server or FileMaker Pro.
