QNX Aviage Multimedia Suite is now ‘Made for iPod’

QNX Software Systems (http://www.qnx.com) has announced that the QNX Aviage Multimedia Suite now offers enhanced support for iPods.

By meeting the certification requirements of Apple’s “Made for iPod” program, the suite helps manufacturers of in-car infotainment units, home theater systems, and other multimedia products to complete their “Made for iPod” certifications with less time and effort, says Andy Gryc, senior product marketing manager, QNX Software Systems.

S&J to launch Eggy, Bike Speaker

S&J Co. (http://eng.snj.co.kr), a computer peripherals specialist, will roll out the Eggy, a ompact portable speaker, and the Bike Speaker’, a bike-mounted speaker, of original design and functionalities at the CeBIT 2010 to be held on March in Hanover, Germany.

The former fits into your hand. The Eggy touts micro-mini 20mm unit technology, 2W output and digital amplifier. It uses USB connectivity and doesn’t require an external power source.
