InCopy 2.0 features an improved user interface, new controls, XML support, new editing tools, and more. The software will ship in the second quarter of 2002. Pricing and Mac OS X support are unknown at this point.

Handspring today introduced its Treo line of handhelds, which combine the functionality of a cell phone, Palm OS PDA, and wireless email, messaging, and Web browser. The product line consists of the black and white Treo 180, which will sell for US$399 when it ships early next year, and the color Treo 270, which will ship in mid-2002 for $599.

Apple was among 100 companies that financial newspaper Barron’s named as bargain basement stocks in this past weekend’s edition. Barron’s selected companies whose shares have fallen at least 75 percent from their 52-week high and that still hold a US$1 billion market capitalization.
