Sony announces 20x portable combo drive
Sony today introduced a slim-line 20x portable CD-RW/DVD combo-drive. The drive is available with either a PCMCIA or USB 2.0 interface and sells for US$329.

PocketPC devices, meanwhile, accounted for 18 percent of sales, down sharply from 30 percent during the previous quarter. Gartner Dataquest expects shipments of PDAs for the year to grow to between 2.8 million and 2.9 million units.
