An interesting Computerworld article recently took a look at Walt Disney World’s wireless network. The entire theme park is nearly enveloped in an 802.11b (AirPort) network that is used for everything from authorizing credit cards to ordering shuttle busses.

Consumer complaints regarding the Internet—primarily involving ecommerce and services—were the eighth most common in 2000, according to a new report from the National Association of Consumer Agency Administrators and the Consumer Federation of America, marking the first time the category has made it into the Top 10. Problems with auto sales and household goods shared the top spot on the list.

Dr. Bott has announced two new accessories for Apple’s iPod: the Auto Charger for iPod (US$24.95) and the iPod Connection Kit ($49.95), which includes the auto charger, FM stereo transmitter, mini stereo extension cable, mini stereo to RCA cable, mini stereo connection cable, and a carry pouch. Both products will ship next month.
