Doug Jones has put together a page detailing an easily reproducible iDVD 2 bug that prevent 90 minute recordings from being burned to DVD. The issue is apparently plaguing a number of users, with no response from Apple as of yet.

In the past week, our friends at MacDesktops have posted 14 new pictures, including: Architecture (Landscapes – Rural), Arizona Slot Canyon (Landscapes – Nature), Monsters, Inc. (Movies), PowerBook G5 case (Logos, Apple), and more. MacDesktops is updated daily with two new pictures.

VersionTracker, as well as a number of MacMinute readers, noted the release of Mozilla 0.9.6, the latest update to the open-source Web browser. This latest release offers a number of fixes and changes to mozilla.org’s next generation Web browser.

The second straight MacExpo in London kicked off Thursday to strong crowds, packed aisles and iPod envy. Of the 100 exhibitors, Apple had the largest booth in the rear of the Business Design Centre in Islington. Apple employees walked the booth with an iPod in hand and professional headphones to show off the device, which local catalog dealers had in stock for immediate sale. Adobe, Macromedia, Microsoft, Freeway and Iomega were among the many exhibitors.

Matthew Fordahlap, technology writer for AP, gives kudos to Microsoft’s latest version of its productivity suite — Office X. “Microsoft developers captured the feel of Apple’s new operating system and its ‘Aqua’ interface, from ever-so-slightly transparent menus to 700 crisp, new icons. Dialogue box buttons look like jelly beans.”
