CRYPTOCard today announced CRYPTOAdmin 5.16 for Mac OS X, which it bills as the first positive user authentication system for the platform.

Trinfinity Software has announced the release of Seagull Video Player 1.1.1, an application that allows users to create a playlist of their favorite video files and watch them full-screen. Version 1.1.1 contains several bug fixes and is a free update for all registered users of the software. An evaluation version is also available.

Apple has released a new version of its productivity suite for Mac OS X, AppleWorks 6.2.2, as noted by VersionTracker. Changes in the new version are not yet known, although the update is specifically and exclusively for users running Mac OS X 10.1 and later.

DVD Player 3.0.1 is now available to Mac OS X users via the Software Update control panel. The update “delivers improved performance and stability, as well as support for Blue and White Power Mac G3 and Power Mac G4 systems with PCI-based graphics.” [Updated – The file is now available as a stand-alone download as well.]
