Microspot (www.microspot.com) has announced DWG Viewer 2.0, an upgrade to their CAD viewing software for the Mac.

The new version allows you to more easily open, annotate and share complex DWG and MacDraft files than before. Now macOS High Sierra compatible, version 2.0 also introduces new features including automatic opening, measure tool, annotation tools and more.

DWG Viewer 2.0 requires macOS 10.10.5 or higher. It costs $49; upgrades from older versions are $29.

Cisdem (www.cisdem.com) has upgraded Mac DVD Burner to version 3.6.0. It’s a multimedia tool that can burn videos to DVDs with menu, subtitle and background music.

Version 3.6.0 adds more free menu templates and support of import local images as a background. As a Christmas special, Mac DVD Burner is being offered for $39.99 (40% off). A demo is available for download.

Apple has released the second public betas of iOS 11.2.5 and tvOS 11.2.5. The public betas are available at https://beta.apple.com/sp/betaprogram/. Just remember that beta software, so proceed with care.
