Elgato rolls out Eve Motion motion sensor

Elgato (www.elgato.com) has rolled out the new Eve Motion, a wireless motion sensor with HomeKit technology. Ready to be placed anywhere inside or outside your home, it enables users to create individual HomeKit automations.

By detecting the user’s presence or absence, it will enable or disable power outlets, HVAC systems, lights or any combination thereof. You don’t even need to open an app or speak a Siri command to set your Good Morning scene, light up the Christmas tree in the evening, or turn on the fan during a hot day.

Muijo announces limited edition, laptop Wooden Case

It’s Muijo’s fifth anniversary and for the occasion, the company has designed and produced a limited run of 50 Wooden Cases – with 10 representing each year of Mujjo (www.muijo.com).

The case is made by hand in Greece. Muijo used reclaimed American Walnut veneer, taken from the furniture industry. The company says that “it comes to life when the layers of veneer are pressed together to form its iconic silhouette, it then goes through several stages of sanding – all performed by hand – to ensure a smooth finish.”
