Apple has released the second public beta of its next update (10.12.5) for macOS Sierra. It’s a minor update that focuses on bug fixes and speed improvements.

Dalet has released a new version of its Dalet Xtend plug-in for Adobe Premiere Pro CC.

Western Digital Corp. has expanded its G-Technology brand G-DRIVE storage portfolio with the G-DRIVE USB-C device. The new drive provides USB-C connectivity for next-generation Mac and PC computers while simultaneously charging compatible USB-C devices like the latest MacBook and MacBook Pro computers.

Karma Mobility has launched DRIFT (http://www.yourkarma.com), a pay-as-you-go Wi-Fi service. Coupled with the Karma Go device, it can be used across the U.S> in over 460 cities.

DRIFT uses a 4G LTE connection and falls back to CDMA 3G in the most remote areas where 4G LTE coverage isn’t available. Laptops, tablets and phones can all purportedly connect within 100 feet of the Karma Go device which weighs 2.3 ounces and has a battery life up to six hours and 220 hours of standby time.

B-Eng has introduced Anti Virus Lite 1.0 (http://www.b-eng.ch), anti-virus software for the Mac. The app offers detection of encrypted viruses, malware, adware, trojans, and even detects viruses that are hidden in compressed files. An adware scanner is included
