Executive Work Station turns the iPad into a ‘semi-desktop’ system

As a person who regularly reviews Mac and iOS products, it’s hard to find something truly different. However, iHome has managed this with the iDM5 Executive Work Station for smartphones and tablets such as the iPhone and iPad.

The Executive Work Station is a combination Bluetooth keyboard, speaker system and USB charging port. This is a combo that I haven’t seen before, and the iDM5 performs all its tasks well.

If you regularly use a stylus on your iPad, Wacom’s (http://www.wacom.com) Bamboo Stylus duo can save you some pocket space. It’s an US$39.95 dual-purpose stylus for the iPad (and Android) tablets.

The Bamboo Stylus duo combines a capacitive pen tip for on-screen input at one end of the Stylus with a premium ball-point ink pen at the opposite end for use on traditional paper. I use the ink pen more than I do the stylus, but it’s nice to have both options in one slim gadget.
