Shaderific adds a side by side display mode

Gryphos has announced Shaderific 4.2 (http://www.shaderific.com), an update of its OpenGL ES shader development application for iOS.

Shaderific helps computer science students and experienced developers to get started with OpenGL ES 2.0 and OpenGL ES 3.0 shader development. The app makes it possible to write, compile and test shader programs directly on any iOS device without ever touching a laptop or desktop computer. Version 4.2 introduces a new display mode showing render view and editor side by side.

Shaderific costs $9.99. It’s available at the Apple App Store.

Apple awards Corning first advanced manufacturing fund investment

Apple has announced that Corning Incorporated will receive $200 million from the company’s new Advanced Manufacturing Fund as part of the tech giant’s commitment to foster innovation among American manufacturers.

The investment will support Corning’s R&D, capital equipment needs and state-of-the-art glass processing. Corning’s 65-year-old Harrodsburg facility has been integral to the 10-year collaboration between these two innovative companies and will be the focus of Apple’s investment.

Strata launches Design 3D CX Version 8.2 for macOS, Windows

Strata has rolled out an update to their flagship software, Design 3D CX. The update includes the addition of Publish VR, which allows designers to export their designs from Strata to virtual reality at the touch of a button, and Render VR which lets users take 360° stereoscopic images and share them on VR viewers like Google Cardboard.
