illumineX (https://illuminex.com) has released EyeSpy 2.0.1 for macOS (10.12 or higher) on the Mac App Store in the Lifestsyle category. The free app is a new spin on the classic toy in which cartoon eyes watch your mouse cursor as you work.

EyeSpy includes free original cartoon characters developed in cooperation with professional artists as well as new characters available as an in-app purchase. Collections of new characters known as ArtPaX are also available. All characters can be shared with others via Messages, Twitter, Facebook or any sharing platform supported by macOS.

Rixstep (www.rixstep.com) has announced Rixtag 2.4, a feature update to their macOS tag editor. The app allows users to edit macOS-based tags on files of any type, including regular files, directories, and more.

By tagging files with descriptive tags, Rixtag is designed to make easier to search for and find files on a Mac’s internal and external hard drives. Version 2.4 is a maintenance upgrade.

Rixtag requires macOS 10.7.5 or higher. It’s part of the $59 Xfile bundle along with over 20 other file management utilities or as part of the $99 ACP subscription.

B-Eng has released File Manager Pro for Mac. Offered as a powerful replacement for the Finder app, it sports a double window layout.

The main features of File Manager app are its ability to synchronize directories with a single click, compress/un-compress files, advanced search and sorting options, as well as interactive disk space managing tools and more. It also offers interactive disk space managing tools.

File Manager Pro is available now from B-Eng online (http://www.b-eng.ch) and costs $19.99. It requires macOS 10.11 or later.

Apple has issued a third developer beta of watchOS 4.Registered developers can find the update at the Apple Developer Connection (https://developer.apple.com) or via the Mac App Store.

Kitcast (http://tinyurl.com/y9aaon9a) has released a self-titled app for the Apple TV that’s targeted to businesses. According to Alex Chirva of Kitcast, it was developed with the integration of artificial intelligence, machine learning, smart algorithms, and innovative technologies, “which will make business processes more smooth, and the solution is simple enough for everyone to use.”
