Steve Wozniak among Apps World Germany keynote speakers

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, will be keynoting the inaugural Apps World Germany event (https://www.apps-world.net) in Berlin this April. He will be joined by founder of Lionhead Studios; Peter Molyneux OBE and co-founder of Games Workshop; Ian Livingstone. The event taking place at CityCube, Berlin on April 22-23 is set to attract over 6,000 attendees over the two days.

Apple up 2.4% following Credit Suisse upgrade

Credit Suisse’s Kulbinder Garcha has upgraded (http://tinyurl.com/p2bdljb) Apple to Outperform two weeks before its fiscal first quarter (FY 15) financial report, and hiked his target by US$20 to $130.

He’s calling for 215 million FY15 iPhone sales, and a similar amount for FY16. The FY15 forecast assumes the acquisition of 76 million users for rival platforms, and a pickup the global iPhone replacement rate to 21 months. A 31.8% FY15 increase in purchase obligation guidance is seen as an indicator of strong demand.

Cinematica for Mac OS X adds better Finder integration

Xeric Design www.xericdesign.com has launched Cinematica 2.4, an upgrade to its video management app for Mac OS X. It lets you manage your video library in detail, keeping track of dozens of properties for each and every file.

With Cinematica, you can sort and search by multiple criteria as well as by technical properties. Version 2.4 adds better Finder integration. Filenames are now directly represented in the “Name” field so that changing a filename in the Finder will be reflected in Cinematica and vice versa.
