VizMac is new Visio Viewer for Mac

Vandaurico has announced VizMac, a Visio viewer for OS X (10.6 or higher) that allows anyone to view, save and print Visio drawings and diagrams on their Mac.

The utility enables users to discover the advantages of using Visio drawings, charts, and illustrations in a Mac environment. Visio files saved as binary (.vsd) files must first be decoded using the VizMac web service before being able to view the drawing or diagram in VizMac. This transaction takes place in the background and is transparent to the end user.

Monotype, Lippincott unveil curated ‘Brands With Heart’ collection

Monotype Imaging Holdings —a provider of typefaces, technology and expertise for creative applications and consumer devices — and Lippincott, a global branding firm, have introduced the Brands with Heart Collection.

The curated collection features a palette of typefaces selected for their distinct personalities and idiosyncratic tendencies as well as their ability to convey the humanistic elements of a brand’s persona. The collection was inspired by recent work completed by Lippincott and Monotype, while designing a new brand identity and custom typeface for Southwest Airlines.

Home care/lawn care robotics market to reach $2.9 billion by 2019

The home care/lawn care robotics market will surpass US$2.9 billion by 2019, up from US$1.2 billion in 2014, according to a new study published by ABI Research (www.abiresearch.com). Approximately seven million robotic home care/lawn care products will be sold in 2019, up from 3.4 million in 2014, representing a CAGR [compound annual growth rate] of 15.6%, notes the research group.
