PRO" CD-ROM TITLE: Third in a Series Provides Super Charged Explosions for
Multimedia, Broadcast Video and Game Developers
Hollywood, CA., November 15, 1997 -- Visual Concept Engineering, Inc.
(VCE), one of Hollywood's leading special effects houses, releases the
third in a series of CD-ROM titles depicting super-charged explosions,
entitled "Pyromania! Pro." The CD-ROM, with over 30 explosive visual
effects images (including a spectacular car explosion) that can be used
royalty free, has been designed for multimedia, broadcast video and game
developers with a professional's requirements in mind. The announcement was
made today by VCE President/Founder Peter Kuran, the producer of
Mr. Kuran is also the producer of "Pyromania: Playing with Fire" and
Pyromania 2," each of which has recorded extraordinary sales successes from
multimedia producers around the world. Each of the three CD-ROMs in the
"Pyromania" series feature file sequences of pyrotechnic visual effects.
Clips from "Pyromania! Pro" were used in the November movie release
"Starship Troopers." Clips from the first two CD-ROMs have appeared on such
TV shows and networks as "Babylon 5." "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys,"
The Discovery Channel, The Sci-Fi Channel and NBC, as well as on the CD-ROM
game "Duke Nuk'em."

"Pyromania! Pro" features zero- gravity and ground-based explosions in high
resolution images form 35mm original photography, which have been recorded
at different angles and perspectives. The CD-ROM includes blasts during
daylight and nighttime, and Alpha Channels for matting. Each of the
explosions depicted stays within its frame.
