Well, we could say…

“We were celebrating April Fools’ Day late.”

or

“We installed a Windows server.”

or

“The messages were really important so we sent them more than once.”

But, in reality and in “technical terms”, the servers got confused in part
due to the shutting down of AppleLink and the Apple layoffs (bounces went
through the ceiling). We believe that the problem of multiple sends of
MacDev-1’s are solved … this message will test that.
