The Mac Show tonight talks WWDC, Freehand 10, more

The Mac Show, an Internet-based live radio show focusing on all things Mac, has announced their guest lineup for tonight’s broadcast (9:00-11:00 pm ET). Nvidia reports first quarter earnings

Nvidia Corporation released their fiscal first quarter results ending April 29. The company announced that net income rose 41 percent and sales rose 62 percent. “The first quarter of fiscal 2002 represents the beginning of our next growth phase,” stated Jen-Hsun Huang, president and CEO of Nvidia. “We have successfully extended our graphics franchise into the mobile and Apple markets, while strengthening our position in our core desktop PC and workstation markets.”

Apple to improve OS X speed

Steve Jobs and Avie Tevanian acknowledged the speed issues plaguing Mac OS X since its release, reports The Register. In fact, Jobs said it was the number 1 requested feature both users and developers wanted to see fixed — the Dock was number 2.

ScheduleOnline Mac Sync available

ScheduleOnline released a Mac version of their sync program today. The utility enables Mac users to synchronize their ScheduleOnline Web calendars, reminders, to do lists, and address books with those of Palm OS-based devices, such as Palm Pilots and Visors. ScheduleOnline Sync for Macintosh can be downloaded from the company’s Web site.
