Hewlett Packard has posted a set of printer drivers with OS X support for their DeskJet series of printers. These drivers are for the 800 and 900 series of DeskJets under OS X, although AppleTalk connected printers are not supported in this release. (VersionTracker)

Apple’s Macintosh Products Guide launches a new program today in conjunction with CompUSA called “Hot Deals at MacMall.” The program offers special pricing to visitors on a wide assortment of Mac products.

Adobe released a demo on their Web site for After Affects that’s a 104.4MB download. Although the demo includes most of the creative features of the standard application, you cannot save or export out of the program. Adobe will also not provide tech support for the demo version.

In his commentary today, David Coursey hailed Apple for providing users with an affordable flat-panel monitor. He also said that Apple is owed a tremendous debt by a universe of smug Windows users for all its years of advancing the state of the market.
