PowerFile, creators of CD/DVD jukebox solutions, has announced it will have support for Mac OS X ready by Fall 2001. The company currently offers Mac OS 9 support for the PowerFile Solo, a one-drive, 200-disc capacity solution; the PowerFile C200 Studio, a two-drive, 200-disc capacity solution; the PowerFile Enterprise Edition, with network support; and the PowerFile Solo Writer, which includes a DVD-RAM drive for archiving.

Sony today announced the CyberShot DSC-S85, the company’s top-of-the-line, 4.1 megapixel digital camera. The S85 features a Carl Zeiss zoom lens with 3x optical and 6x digital zoom, 1.5-inch LCD, ClipMotion animated GIF capture, a 16 MB Memory Stick, and a new Memory Stick-to-Memory Stick copy function. The camera will ship in August for around US$800.
