PowerLogix chops up to US$100 off upgrades
PowerLogix yesterday cut the prices on a number of its processor upgrades by up to US$100. The 500MHz BlueChip PowerBook G3 upgrade has been reduced to $499 and the PowerForce G4 450/225/1MB (for Power Mac 7300-9600 systems and clones) has dropped to $369, with the ZIF version (for beige and blue & white G3s) being cut to $399.
