Reporter’s Notebook: Notes from Macworld, day three

As I write this I’m getting ready to head to the airport to fly back to Nashville from San Francisco, where I’ve been covering Macworld. The weather in SF is sunny, which represents the overall feel of the show.

Today (Saturday) traffic is much lighter than in the past two days on the exhibitor show floor. However, there were still several visitors. And many more will likely drop by this afternoon, after I’ve departed.

‘Wired’ plans iPad content, says device is a ‘game changer’

“Wired Magazine” Editor-in-Chief Chris Anderson announced at the Technology, Entertainment and Design conference on Friday that the publication would be releasing its content for the iPad by summer.

“I’m from the media world, and as you may have heard, we have lots of questions about our future,” Anderson told the audience. “The good news is I think we found part of the answer…. We think this is a game changer.”

Transcriptize lets you take transcriptions from Adobe Production Bundle to Final Cut Pro, more

Intelligent Assistance has introduced a new software tool that takes Transcription XML from Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 or Soundbooth CS4 and converts it text, Excel Spreadsheet or Final Cut Pro clip markers.
