° iScreen, a mobile customization app for iOS and Android, has announced a new round of features and content designed around iOS 27, expanding the ways users can personalize their Home Screens with widgets, themes and emerging display formats.
° CapDo — Smart Lists is a new iPhone and Apple Watch app built for capturing notes and to-do items in seconds and letting them sort themselves. Features include Quick Capture (including Apple Watch voice dictation and a watch complication) auto-categorizes each item into Shopping, To-Do, Ideas, Reminders, or Meetings, syncs across devices via iCloud, and uses Apple Intelligence to turn a voice note — or even a photo — straight into a checklist.
° World’s Edge, in collaboration with Feral Interactive, have announced that The Viking Sagas expansion for Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is now available for macOS on Steam.
° WhatsApp is rolling out full emoji reactions on Apple Watch, expanding beyond six presets with a category-based picker for any supported emoji.
° Bitrig now builds iPhone Duo apps and tests them in an interactive 3D folding simulator with hinge-aware layouts and multiple device poses before launch.
° OpenAI has debuted GPT–6 Sol and GPT–6 Luna, two new models that follow GPT–6 Astra. OpenAI says the new models were developed using methods similar to Astra’s for improvements in professional work, factuality, coding, computer use, and alignment.
° Anthropic has debuted Claude Opus 5.5, which it says is the first model in a new 5.5 model family. Opus 5.5 performs at the level of Claude Fable 5.1 on most work, but costs 40 percent less to run than Opus 5.
° Nitro Games announced that the mobile boomer shooter set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe is now available on mobile app stores. You can download it at the Apple App Store.
° Square has announced a new Apple Business integration that makes it easier for businesses to ensure they have up-to-date information across Apple Maps, Apple Wallet, and Siri AI.
