The 2026 Consumer Electronics Show is being held this week in Las Vegas. Here are some of the interesting announcements:

° Birdbuddy, the nature tech company, has unveiled its next-generation of smart bird feeders – the Birdbuddy 2 and the Birdbuddy 2 Mini. It also unveiled the Petal Smart Nature Camera, part of the company’s new Wonder product line.

° KEYi Tech has rolled out the DeskMate, a desktop charging hub that turns an attached iPhone into an AI companion, using your device’s existing display, camera, and microphone.

° Kwikset has announced the Aura Reach, a smart lock that Matter-Enabled with Thread for compatibility with all major smart home platforms, including Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, and Google Home.

° OWC has announced fully certified 2-meter Thunderbolt 5 cable, which it says is the longest Thunderbolt 5 cable available for Macs and PCs.

° Samsung has previewed a new Odyssey gaming display lineup that includes a glasses-free 6K gaming monitor. No word on whether it’s Mac compatible. 

° UGREEN debuted two Intel-based NAS systems: the NASync iDX6011 and iDX6011 Pro.

° Moft has unveiled three upcoming devices that will  equipped with Apple Find My: two MagSafe wallets and an extending stand.

° Aqara has unveiled its Smart Lock U400. Equipped with the cutting-edge ultra-wideband (UWB) technology, this deadbolt lock uses high-precision location tracking to offer hands-free unlocking with home key on an iPhone or Apple Watch.

° AtomForm has unveiled the Palette 300, which it says is the world’s first smart 12-nozzle color 3D printer, capable of printing with up to 36 colors and 12 materials at once.

° AWOL Vision has introduced its Aetherion series, the world’s sharpest triple-laser ultra-short-throw projectors, delivering true 4K clarity at screen sizes up to 200 inches from just inches away.
