The ensemble for Apple TV+’s upcoming “Project Artemis” movie has added up-and-comer Donald Elise Watkins, reports Deadline. There are no details on the role he’ll play.

Watkins is perhaps best known for starring alongside RJ Cyler in Prime Video’s comedic college thrillerEmergency,” which world premiered to critical acclaim as the opening night film for Sundance 2022 before being released in limited theaters and on Prime Video by Amazon Studios. 

As noted by Deadline, the actor has also previously been seen in films including Prime Video’s sci-fi horror Black Box, Damien Chazelle’s Oscar-winning Neil Armstrong drama First Man, the war pic Free State of Jones led by Matthew McConaughey, and Tate Taylor’s Get on Up starring the late Chadwick Boseman as James Brown.

“Project Artemis” is a film is set against the space race. The screenplay comes from Rose Gilroy, daughter of writer-director Dan Gilroy and actress René Russo. Two-time Oscar nominee Scarlett Johansson will produce with Jonathan Lia and Keenan Flynn through their These Pictures production company, which commissioned and developed the script. She also stars along with Channing Tatum, Ray Romano, Jim Rash, and Anna Garcia. Greg Berlanti is the director.
