The upcoming iPad Air will sport a design that’s similar to the third-generation iPad Pro, claims the Japanese site Mac Otakara.

Citing unnamed Chinese suppliers, the articles says the “iPad Air 5” will continue to sport a 10.9-inch screen and a Touch ID button on the side. However, Mac Otakara says the updated tablet will add a A15 processor, dual-lens camera system (wide and ultra wide cameras), a four-speaker audio system, a 5G mmWave chip, and possibly a LiDAR Scanner.

The report differs from other rumors about the iPad Air revamp. For example, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo thinks it will adopt an OLED display next year.

In similar news, Mac Otakara says the pending ninth generation iPad and sixth generation iPad mini “do not seem to be any different” from the current models. This also differs from previous reports. For example, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman thinks the iPad mini 6 will be released this fall with a major redesign. How major? No Home button and slimmer bezels.
