Beats by Dr. Dre (http://www.beatsbydre.com), the audio brand co-founded by Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine and acquired by Apple in July 2014, says it will be expanding its offering of wireless products with the launch of the new Solo2 Wireless on-ear headphones.

Solo2 Wireless offers the same dynamic sound and streamlined design as Solo2, but with the added benefit of wireless capabilities, according to Beats President Luke Wood. With its Bluetooth technology, Solo2 Wireless can move freely for up to 30 feet from your audio device.

You can take phone calls, skip songs, and change the volume using the “b” button and volume buttons on the ear cup. The Solo2 Wireless’ rechargeable battery purportedly allows you to enjoy up to 12 hours of wireless playback. Not charged? Not a problem. Just plug in the provided RemoteTalk cable and enjoy your music.

The Solo2 Wireless retails for US$299.95 and will be available this month at Apple.com and select retailers. Go to BeatsbyDre.com to be notified on specific colors and availability. Red Solo2 Wireless will be sold exclusively at Verizon Wireless, in stores and online, through 2014.
