ATTO Technology is shipping its 12Gb ExpressSAS SAS/SATA Host Bus Adapter (HBA).
The 12Gb ExpressSAS (http://tinyurl.com/mng7efy) provides “fast and reliable storage connectivity while enabling scalability for next generation platforms and infrastructures,” says Wayne Arvidson of ATTO. It’s optimized for low latency and high bandwidth data transfer.
The 12Gb ExpressSAS HBA offers eight or 16 port configurations, providing up to 1,200 MB/second per port. It connects to disks, JBOD, and RAID storage.
