Budge Studios has announced Chuggington Traintastic Adventures 1.0, a train set adventure app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Based on the TV show, “Chuggington” that airs weekdays on Disney Junior, this USS$3.99 virtual train set invites children ages 3-8 to explore Chuggington in an interactive adventure.

Chillingo has released Totem Runner. Here’s how the $0.99 game is described: “When the world is threatened by dark magic and ruthless monsters, a brave warrior rises, ready to run right into the thick of battle. His confidence is steeled by his mystical ability to transform at-will into a rampaging rhinoceros, capable of spearing enemies on his horn, and a hawk that can soar over obstacles and deadly hazards. Knowing when to transform between shapes — man, bird, and beast — is key to success in this action-packed endless runner.”

Vivid Games has introduced Gyro+. It’s a $0.99, old school style arcade game in which players rotate a multi-coloured wheel through 360 degrees while ensuring that the colored balls flying onto the screen land in the matching part of the wheel.

Play Creatividad has produced Forgotten Colours for the iPhone. It’s a $0.99 interactive edition of the popular book with a collection of illustrated and interactive stories for the whole family.

Arcadia Apps has unveiled PhotoPhrase: Type on Photos 1.0. The $1.99 photo labeling app includes proportional word sizing, multi-colored fonts, visual effects, and rotational gesturing.

CR Productions has debuted La Cucaracha 2. In the free, arcade-style scroller game, the player guides Benny, a greedy cockroach, as he tries to find food while avoiding all sorts of nasty threats including insect spray, blow torches, electric zappers, sticky strips, poison powder, lizards, frogs, and snakes.

Selosoft has unleashed Gauntlet Galaxy 1.0, a $0.99, retro-arcade-style game. In Gauntlet Galaxy, players pilot a ship through a series of challenging gauntlets in an unknown galaxy. The game is an endless third-person based runner, similar to games like Temple Run, but adds several unique elements including camera rotation, the ability to shoot asteroids and a cosmic setting full of lightning and space dust.

Designed for ages three through six, 123 Kids Fun Puzzle is a free collection of four apps with seven puzzle games and 84 pictures each.

BeiZ has presented I Spy with Lola. It’s a hidden clue game for children ages 3-8 years. The iPhone/iPod touch version costs $0.99; the iPad version is $1.99.

Skejo Studios has created Lab Bunnies, its new vertical platformer for iPhone and iPod devices. In the $0.99 game, players bound their way through various experiments testing the growing intellect of the various cloned bunnies and using one touch controls to munch carrots, navigate traps, change colors and more.

Tapity and Sonico Mobile have teamed up for Languages. It’s a $0.99 translation app; its languages functions work offline.
