Another day, another lawsuit. Apple has just settled an ongoing lawsuit with one Chinese firm, Proview. Now it’s being sued by Chinese household chemical company called Jiangsu Xuebao, who claims that Apple has infringed its “Snow Leopard” trademark.

Ziangus Xuebao registered the trademark of the Chinese translation of Snow Leopard (“Xuebao (雪豹)” for electrical equipment production in 2000, reports “M.I.C. Gadget” (http://macte.ch/m28tO). Mac OS X Snow Leopard violates the trademark, the company claims.

A court in Shanghai has already accepted this trademark lawsuit case and a hearing is scheduled for July 10. “M.I.C. Gadget” says Jiangsu Xuebao is seeking 500,000 RMB (around $80,645) in compensation and an apology from Apple.
