Velvet Rock Apps has introduced JotDot 1.0 for Mac OS X, a notes application that allows users to jot down ideas or copy and paste text for future reference. It requires Mac OS X 10.7 or later, costs US$5.99 and is available worldwide through the Mac App Store in the Productivity category.
JotDot also offers a real-time search function. The application sits in the menubar and is immediately available via a keyboard shortcut or click of the mouse button or trackpad. Notes are saved automatically; the app also offers automatic spelling correction and more.
