Nest thermostat now available at the Apple store

Apple is now offering the Nest Learning Thermostat through both its online store. The internet- and iOS-enabled thermostat will sell for US$249.

The thermostat was created by former Apple executive Tony Fadell, the “father of the iPod.” It’s the first product from startup Nest Labs (http://www.nest.com/), which was founded by Fadell after he left Apple in 2010.
