As noted by “Macworld UK” (http://macte.ch/S7CEK), Symantec’s estimations suggest that the Flashback MacBot has been reduced from 142,00 on Monday to 99,000 on Tuesday.
“The statistics from our sinkhole are showing declining numbers on a daily basis,” the security specialist writes in a blog post (http://macte.ch/xr0Vj). “However, we had originally believed that we would have seen a greater decline in infections at this point in time, but this has proven not to be the case.”
