PrivacyScan is now available on the Mac App Store. It requires Mac OS X 10.6 or higher and is available at an introductory price of US$4.99 at the Mac App Store in the Utilities category.
PrivacyScan protects online and offline privacy by shredding files that can be used to track your web browsing and computer usage. Going above and beyond United States DoD (Department of Defense) government standards, PrivacyScan’s shred feature can overwrite data with up to 35 passes.
PrivacyScan works by searching for known applications which leave files on your computer that could lead to privacy concerns.
