Blueinc multimedia has announced Kuluku 1.0, their new puzzle game for iOS devices. The US$0.99 app is designed to appeal to Sudoku and Kakuro lovers. Play is similar to Kakuro, but simpler. Kuluku offers unlimited number of games where no two games are alike.

LiveHappy has released Deep Sleep with Dr Elaine Ryan 1.1, a $0.99, sleep relaxation app for iOS devices. It uses the technology available by incorporating white noise in the form of nature sounds.

Nevosoft has introduced LandGrabbers for the iPad. The free app combines elements of strategy, simulator, and resource management. Players will have to become brilliant military leaders commanding their own troops. The goal is to conquer the world by forming militias and capturing the enemy fortresses. Unlike typical war strategies LandGrabbers doesn’t contain any violent scenes, but it does require strategic thinking.

Wombi has launched The Pirate’s Treasure a memory game for iPhone and iPad devices. The $2.99 app features a traditional board game approach where two children will share one device and interact with each other. In this pirate duel, players can chose between eight different pirate characters.

Hypnotherapist Direct has debuted Healing Waves 1.0 for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. The $1.99 music app gives users the ability to play the sort of music that puts them in a positive and relaxing mental state.

Marriott International has rolled out a free mobile app for iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android devices. It lets you plan and book your next hotel stay — at a Marriott hotel, of course.

Joke of the Day is a new, free app for people who love to share jokes. It allows sharing via e-mail and social media (Facebook, Twitter).
