“The China Times” pinpoints the iPhone 5 release to the second week of September with an initial order of four million units, as reported by “MacRumors” (http://www.macrumors.com).The news report also says the iPad 3 will arrive sometime around Thanksgiving.
Speaking of the next iPhone, “9to5Mac” (http://9to5mac.com/) says the iPhone 5 will feature a thinner, tapered design
Also, the Vietnamese site, “Tinhte” says Apple plans a cheaper version of the iPhone to go along with the major revamp of the iPhone 5.
“BGR” (http://www.bgr.com) quotes an “unproven source” as saying Apple is considering buying Barnes & Noble. Per the article: “Apple would be able to take Barnes & Noble’s vast digital library of books and publications, and fold them into Apple’s own iBooks store. Apple would have no use for the NOOK, and that would likely be discontinued in this scenario. Apple could then convert some of the brick and mortar Barnes & Noble stores into Apple stores and close the rest. .”
